I'm in the process of cleaning my room and getting rid of what I can. But there are a few things I can't get rid of. Lot's of books and lots of prints. But I think I'm getting to the point (If not now, I will be in April), where I can put up an 11/88 Studios package for a decent price to get it out of my room and into other peoples hands.

Modern Hood has been picked up by Arcana Studios. I don't own the rights, I printed ashcans to gain some attention for the book at the convention and they didn't sell the way I hoped. But it does feature the first and possibly only appearance of Modern Hood in comic form.
The 11/88 Studios Print is 11*17 and features Modern Hood, Tyler Kirk (Growing Pains) and The Legend Killer (debuts next April).
I also have some other prints to benefit Tuberous Sclerosis. Those feature Splinter as a Green Lantern (David Johnson), Demona as a Red Lantern (Tyler Earles) and Scarecrow as member of the Sinestro Corps (Ethan Van Sciver). I'll sell those for $5.00 as well. $4.00 will go to Tuberous Sclerosis and $1.00 will cover print cost.
Shipping will be $6.00. I don't think that'll cover the shttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifhipping, as long as I don't fall too much more into debt, I don't care.
I'll be throwing in some book marks free of charge for every order along with an additional Modern Hood print.
A select amount of each prints has been signed by the colorist and the Green Lantern, Modern Hood and 11/88 Print have also been signed by the penciler.
Select amount copies of Modern Hood ashcan have also been signed by Penciler and Colorist.

Con Wrap Up
Well, financially the convention wasn't what I had hoped for, but it wasn't even close to a total loss, I still count it as a win. Sold my personal comics collection for $800 before the show started, one flat offer that I excepted.
I'm about to tally the money for everything sold, but it wasn't pretty six copies of the Modern Hood ashcan, three of them to my Mom.
I did meet Maria and her husband in person. Both a great time to be around, thankfully there was never a silent awkward moment. I think she ended up selling the majority of things sold.
As the night ended Daniel Way (Wolverine: Origins, Dark Wolverine, Daken, Deadpool), came by and snagged a copy of Growing Pains and the Modern Hood ash can, that's a win in my book.
As for the convention from a fan view. Now that I'm in the habit of getting things signed and getting sketches, that was almost a total win.
Scarecrow sketches and commissions from David Petersen (Mouse Guard), Katie Cook (Gronk & Fraggle Rock), Jason Howard (Astounding Wolf-Man & Super Dinosaur), Skottie Young (Oz, New X-Men) Ryan Ottley (Invincible), Jeremy Bastian (Cursed Pirate Girl), Timm Umstead (Local) & Ryan Lee (Local).
I only missed Ryan Stegman & Angel Medina.
I also got a sketch of The Land Before Time's Littlefoot. Jason said he enjoyed drawing something happy and not superheroy for a change. Glad I was able to give him something new to do.
Got my first year volunteer shirt signed by all the new featured guests. Got all my books signed.
Next year the goal will remain, Scarecrow sketches from featured artists including Angel & Ryan.
And get three more sketches of something just different that an artists has hopefully never done before or really just has a fun time doing that they rarely get to do (Like Littlefoot).
Not sure what my game plan will be next year as far as books go. Having sold a few this year, it's not like a lot like everyone will find them old, I'm thinking of maybe printing 50 issues of the ten page Legend Killer story and packaging it with Growing Pains & the Modern Hood ashcan and see if that'll work well as a group. Still plenty of time to figure that out though.

Two Weeks
I'm sitting here at my pc drinking Blue Moon Honey Wheat.
First off, I don't recommend it. It's like a Blue Moon Light to me. There is a bit of bite, but no flavor. I'm not tasting any hint of honey. Then again, I'm not someone that sits with a food or drink in my mouth looking for all the flavors. I eat to get rid of hunger and drink to get rid of thirst....or get drunk or buzzed.
I'm also drinking out of a Fear Pint glass. In Blackest Day, In Brightest Night, Beware Your Fears Made Into Light, Let Those Who Try And Stop What's Right, Burn Like His Power, SINESTRO'S MIGHT!
Yeah, Sinestro Corps for life.
Oh, I'm watching Dexter season 3 also. That would be a fun show to write, the drawback is how natural I think it'd come for me to write it. That's not good.
Anyway, the Cherry Capital Con is two weeks away, about 13 days actually.
Modern Hood was successful on Kick Starter, the print and book marks have arrived, I'm waiting for the Modern Hood books to arrive.
I'm hoping to pull in a few grand for myself personally. Then I'll be able to pay off a credit card or come close to it.
There will be plenty of things to purchase also.
Limited edition prints featuring Splinter (TMNT) as a Green Lantern, Demona (Gargoyles) as a Red Lantern. I mean, she was a bitch before, and to add onto that the fact that she's a female and might deal with a period and now a Red Lantern. She's a perfect fit. Also Scarecrow as a Yellow Lantern.
Then I will have a Modern Hood print and print featuring some characters from the 11/88 Studios world.
I'll have Growing Pains and Modern Hood there.
And some book marks along with comics and graphic novels from my personal collection.
11/88 books will be $5 each and the prints will be $10 each and sets of bookmarks for $1.

28% ($156 of $555)
Kick Starter is going steady. 25 days left and it's up to $156 backed of the needed $555.
And to top it off, I just added two new backer rewards.
$5 will get you a few different Modern Hood book marks. And I will also add a sketch book signed by Joseph that features some of his untouched penciled work.
$15 will get you a copy of my first self published book (Growing Pains) signed by myself and the inker of chapter 2 and Modern Hood Henrik Horvath. And it will also get you a copy of the original pitch that was sent off to publishers and I'll have that signed by Myself, Joseph and Henrik also.
The only thing about the backing that isn't great news to the backers is the turn around time. The convention is June 25th. That is when the preview copies will be signed by myself, David & Maria. Then between the time to recover and hopefully deal with lots of money, I'll be headed back to work. Then I will have to package everything up, then ship everything to Hungary to be signed by Henrik, then he'll send them to the Philippines to be signed by Joseph, then Joseph sends them back to me. And then I send them out. So I'd hope everything has arrived by the start of August.
Onto other things.

The start of next month I'll reveal the next print that will be for sale at the 11/88 Studios tables during C3.

Second Print
I sit here at my pc watching/listening to Trailer Park Boys. If you've never heard of it check it out. It's like the office meets cops from the criminal point of view. It's a Canadian series set in a trailer park, it's a mockumentary about a few criminals. Very very funny.
Anyway, the pub crawl is this Thursday (St. Patty's Day) where everyone is Irish and family.
I happen to actually be Irish, mainly German. I don't have much of a temper. In fact, it takes a lot of me to get physical when I'm angry. And I do mean a lot, that just means I'm a happy drunk. I laugh at plenty.
I'm training right now for the crawl with Taco bell, Jim Beam Red Stag (That's the ONLY Whiskey, Bourbon, Scotch (It's all the same, for real) that I can drink) and Shock Top (I love Wheat Beers).
Yadda, yadda, yadda.
You want the second print. All 20 of you or more. Well, I'll be honest. I watch quite a few people on DA and don't know why. Although sometimes they remind me.
The second print is anther X-Over the way Green Lantern Splinter is.
Scarecrow as a Yellow Lantern.
Scarecrow is done by Ethan Van Sciver and colored by Maria Belen Pilaftsidis-Horsch.
A note on Ethan. This sketch was actually done at a C3 Pre show by Ethan. it wasn't until very later that I thought it would make a cool print to sell. I did ask Ethan for his approval and he allowed it. I wouldn't do it without his permission. And all the proft on the print goes to charity. As a creator/reader I feel disrespectful selling comics signed by a creator. As a creator I feel it's perfectly acceptable to do whatever you can to make sure the books with your name have a resell value and hopefully don't end up in the quarter or dollar bin. I just wish Marvel and DC felt the same way. But that's virtually impossible, they could up their standards though. Every company can.
